Responsibilities- Provide High-Quality Patient Care: Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care, adhering to therapeutic standards and making adjustments as needed.
- Assess and Stabilize Patients: Perform thorough assessments and stabilize patients as required, utilizing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Participate in Decision-Making: Contribute to decision-making processes, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to enhance operational efficiency and improve patient care.
- Complete Medical Documentation: Accurately and thoroughly document all medical information, ensuring seamless communication and continuity of care.
- Transport Patients and Supplies: May be required to drive an ambulance to transport patients and supplies, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Licensure and Certification: Possess current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Indiana, with certifications in Advanced Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation.
- Education and Experience: Hold a diploma from an accredited school of nursing, with a minimum of three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Level III/IV PICU, NICU, or pediatric emergency department.
- Additional Preferences: Possess certifications in Transport Nursing, Neonatal Pediatric Transport, or Flight Nursing, with a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role.
