About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Expert to join our team at Engineering Systems, Inc. As a key member of our forensic consulting team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations into electrical equipment failures, fires, and explosions.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate electrical equipment failures and incidents: Conduct on-site inspections, gather evidence, and analyze data to determine the root cause of electrical system failures.
  • Prepare technical reports: Write detailed reports documenting your findings, including conclusions and recommendations for clients.
  • Provide expert testimony: Serve as an expert witness in court proceedings, providing technical expertise and presenting evidence to support clients' cases.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required; a Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience: You should have at least 10 years of experience in forensic consulting, with a strong background in electrical system analysis and investigation.
  • Professional Engineer License: A Professional Engineer License is required; CFEI or CFI Certification is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills: You must possess excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present findings in a clear, concise manner.
