Truss Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Truss Designer to join our client's dynamic team at GPAC. As a key member of our construction solutions team, you will be responsible for designing and drafting truss systems that meet industry standards and local building codes.

• Utilize advanced software and tools to design and draft truss systems that meet project requirements and constraints.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure truss designs comply with industry standards and local building codes.
• Perform load calculations to ensure truss systems can withstand anticipated stresses.
• Generate detailed truss layout drawings, including specifications and materials lists.
• Review and revise designs based on feedback from project stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all truss designs.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to truss design.

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Truss Designer in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in truss design software.
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
