About the Role

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist Level III to join our team in a diagnostic imaging specialist role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic Imaging Specialist: Assist with standard and non-standard corrective repairs, routine preventive maintenance, and acceptance testing on all diagnostic imaging systems.
  • Diagnostic Equipment Specialist: Prepare diagnostic imaging studies to be transferred to digital imaging environment with minimal day-to-day oversight.
  • Medical Imaging Technologist: Perform installations of standard and non-standard diagnostic imaging systems, electronic image transfer systems, and associated equipment.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Expertise: Pursue effective relationships with others by proactively providing resources, information, advice, and expertise with coworkers and members.
  • Problem-Solving: Complete work assignments autonomously by applying up-to-date expertise in subject area to generate creative solutions.
  • Documentation: Ensure that documentation is adequately maintained by documenting one's actions, standards, procedures, and protocols for all major processes.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct ongoing preventative maintenance of medical equipment by performing inspections and functionality tests of standard and non-standard medical equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: Associates degree or vocational certificate in Electronic Service, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum three (3) years experience in medical technology field service with medical devices and systems or a directly related field.
