Job Summary

HealthEcareers - Client is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a substance abuse treatment setting. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to clients in a substance abuse treatment program, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Administer medication as prescribed by medical staff, monitoring clients for potential side effects and reporting any concerns to the Nurse Manager.
  • Document client medical records accurately and maintain confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance professional development and stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Current NYS LPN License
  • Current NYS Infection Control Certificate
  • Minimum one year experience as an LPN, preferably in a substance abuse treatment program
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to speak, read, and write the English language
  • Proficiency with computers
Work Environment

This is a full-time position in a fast-paced substance abuse treatment setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
