About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a highly skilled Systems Integration and Test Engineering Manager to join Lockheed Martin's Space division. As a key member of the Life Extension 2 team, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of test plans, procedures, and scripts for the Next Generation System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Staffing Support Initiatives: Develop and implement strategies to support the growth and development of the test team.
  • Manage Test Product Readiness: Oversee the development and execution of test plans, procedures, and scripts to ensure timely and effective delivery of test products.
  • Oversee Day-to-Day Operations: Provide leadership and guidance to the test team, ensuring that all tasks and projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Provide Detailed Timeline Planning and Technical Guidance: Develop and maintain detailed timelines for test execution, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Conduct Performance Reviews, Hiring, and Job Placement: Conduct regular performance reviews, hire and place badged personnel, and provide guidance and support to ensure the success of the test team.
  • Contribute to Program ATLO Planning Inputs: Provide input and guidance on the development of program-level ATLO plans and procedures.
  • Collaborate in GSE and Operations CAM Duties: Work closely with the GSE and Operations teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of test plans and procedures.
  • Implement Rewards and Recognition Programs: Develop and implement rewards and recognition programs to motivate and engage the test team.
  • Mentor and Guide the Team: Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to the test team, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to succeed in their roles.
Requirements
  • Hold a BS in Engineering/Aerospace Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Proficient in Electrical Testing: Develop and execute detailed test plans, procedures, and scripts.
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance: Hold an active Top Secret security clearance.

  • Full Spectrum Leadership: Demonstrate strong oral, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with customers and senior program management.
