Confluence Health Hospital - Central Campus is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team on a travel assignment. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to expectant mothers and their newborns.
Responsibilities- Provide individualized care to patients in labor, including administering medications, monitoring fetal heart rates, and performing vaginal deliveries.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories, physical conditions, and emotional states to develop effective care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
- Document patient information, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans, in a clear and concise manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Current BLS/BCLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
As a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Confluence Health Hospital - Central Campus, you will work in a state-of-the-art facility with a team of experienced healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for providing care to patients in a variety of settings, including labor and delivery rooms, postpartum units, and neonatal intensive care units.
