Position Summary

The Trim Technician Lead is responsible for executing the duties of a Trimmer while also fulfilling leadership responsibilities. In this capacity, the Trim Lead, in collaboration with the Trim Room Manager and Trim Department Manager, will ensure the overall success and operational effectiveness of the trim department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively set up and manage the opening and closing of the trim room.
  • Accurately weigh and document weights and discrepancies of trimmers' products.
  • Operate the pop machine.
  • Ensure proper labeling and accountability for all products.
  • Accurately enter data into the Trimmer Tracker and Intake Form.
  • Conduct quality assessments on trimmers' bags, monitor bin room climate settings, and evaluate product workability.
  • Train trimmers on ACAS expectations and document any workplace infractions.
  • Collaborate with various departments to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
  • Supervise 15-30 trimmers per shift.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Detail-oriented with strong hand dexterity.
  • Able to perform fast repetitive hand movements.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Employee Conduct

This position oversees the department's trim technicians.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.

  • Ability to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, and carry products as needed for customer service and inventory management.
  • Work involves handling cannabis, which may contain allergens that could affect sensitive individuals.
  • Capable of lifting boxes and products, as well as performing general maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal.
  • Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 35 lbs.
  • Comfortable climbing ladders.

Work Schedule

  • This is a full-time position.
  • Holidays may require work.
  • Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Schedules are subject to change.
