Job Description:

AT&T is seeking a skilled Logistics Technician to support the National Security Sector in providing mission-critical Department of Defense (DoD) communications infrastructure upgrades and shaping policies and improving property management processes across the program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track the removal and addition of equipment to the customer network and report updates to the procurement team for maintenance equipment list updates.
  • Develop and maintain logistic team processes and procedures.
  • Assist in developing and monitoring logistic teams' training plans.
  • Monitor and report on fulfillment of requirements for various customer reporting systems.
  • Support logistics leads in managing worldwide logistics operations.
  • Provide support for customer supply chain management review (SCMR) audits.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives.
  • Approve equipment transfers as a custodial property officer (CPO) for hub and tail sites.
  • Develop and monitor site inventory plans and report on inventory status.
  • Track and monitor equipment disposal across the program.
  • Track, update records, and report on return material authorization (RMA) deliveries and turn-ins.
  • Collaborate with site personnel to ensure consumable property stock levels are properly maintained.
  • Track, trace, and update shipment status as needed.

Requirements:

  • TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
  • 5 years of experience in a combination of work history and education, or equivalent.
  • Possess knowledge of automated inventory control systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience ordering, processing, shipping, receiving, packaging, material handling, property accountability, and discharge of excess property.
  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), property management practices, and data entry into SAP/AM.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and carry for 40 feet several times a day.
  • Experience in physical inventorying equipment, proper labeling, tracking, and documenting the movement of IT equipment.
  • Ability to travel about 30% of the year and work under difficult conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Strong communications skills, including written and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously with little to no supervision.
