Role Overview:

The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of guest accommodations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Adhering to all departmental policies and service standards.
  • Understanding the proper maintenance and usage of cleaning equipment.
  • Proactively addressing guest needs and maintaining positive interactions.
  • Being knowledgeable about hotel services and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
  • Resolving guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in assigned work areas.
  • Utilizing appropriate cleaning chemicals in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Transporting cleaning supplies and amenities to guest rooms.
  • Performing cleaning duties in designated rooms as per assignment.
  • Managing waste disposal and replacing used linens.
  • Ensuring bathrooms are thoroughly cleaned and stocked with necessary amenities.
  • Updating the status of cleaned rooms on the assignment sheet.
  • Restocking cleaning supplies and maintaining equipment.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor.
  • Handling lost and found items appropriately.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
