Dialysis Nurse

The Hospital Dialysis Registered Nurse provides specialized care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.

This role involves delivering dialysis treatments in a hospital environment, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and is open to training new nurses.

Requirements include a current Registered Nurse license and a dynamic work schedule with comprehensive benefits.

• No dialysis experience is required; willing to train
• Position will support our dialysis program at Geisinger Medical Center
• Schedule: 4 10-hour shifts, includes every other Saturday

You can expect to be part of a positive environment where staff RNs rely on each other. Deliver care to patients who require unique treatment plans and leverage a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge.

The position requires overseeing a group of patients with the support of PCTs to conduct patient observations, measuring stats and machine set up.

You will work with your head, heart, and hands each day in a fast-paced environment.

This role offers specialty nephrology care within various settings (ICU, CCU, ED, and more).

DaVita's Inpatient Dialysis Program is Joint Commission Accredited.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required
• Full vaccination against COVID-19 is required by hospitals in this program
