About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to work as a Front-End Engineer at Amazon, where you will be responsible for creating the user-facing side of software. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with experienced developers to design and develop high-quality user interfaces and experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software components and improvements to software features with your team.
  • Work with stakeholders and product partners to deliver high-quality user experiences.
  • Take feature specifications and deliver working code that is maintainable and extendable.
  • Provide operational support for your team and work to ensure that root causes are identified and resolved.
  • Participate in code reviews and daily stand-ups.
  • Collaborate with your team to positively impact the software quality, customer experience, and maintainability of your team's products.

What You'll Need:

  • Basic proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, C#).
  • Understanding of computer science fundamentals (e.g., data structures & algorithms, OO design).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous technical internships in a related field (e.g., Front-End, Full Stack, Web Development).
  • Familiarity with one or more front-end framework (e.g., React, Vue).
  • Basic knowledge and skills in UI/UX Design.
  • Customer obsession and strong problem-solving skills.

Compensation:

The base pay for this position ranges from $99,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $209,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Total Compensation:

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
