Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perioperative Care: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Scrub Role: Participate in surgical procedures as a member of the surgical team, adhering to aseptic technique and following established protocols.
- Patient Care: Provide support to patients of various age groups, working in partnership with licensed staff to ensure high-quality care.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Education: High School graduate or equivalent required; completion of a Surgical Technology program preferred.
- Certification: Certification as a Surgical Technologist or 3 years of experience in a related field; certification preferred, BLS certification required.
