Job Summary

CME Associates, Inc. seeks an experienced Construction Inspector to join our team. As a Construction Inspector, you will be responsible for performing special inspections and material testing services at commercial construction sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform soil, concrete, masonry, hot mix asphalt, spray applied fireproofing, welding & bolting, geotechnical investigations, structural steel, and other quality control/quality assurance testing services on commercial construction job sites
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Complete testing assignments accurately and in accordance with standards
  • Record and report results clearly and concisely
  • Provide regular project updates to direct supervisors

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in civil engineering / technology preferred
  • Must possess ICC certification or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license required

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is $23-$32 per hour, and we offer comprehensive benefits.
