Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to join our team at our outpatient primary care clinic in Kent, WA. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain vital signs and weights of patients, take medication histories, and prepare patients for evaluation by healthcare providers.
  • Perform phlebotomy, including in-office blood draws, point-of-care tests, and EKG testing.
  • Instruct patients on the use of home glucose meters and subcutaneous drug administration.
  • Administer subcutaneous/intramuscular drugs and vaccines, ensuring proper handling and reporting measures.
  • Download self-monitored blood glucose and blood pressure records, when applicable.
  • Maintain accurate logs of medication samples and vaccine inventory.
  • Update prescription samples and keep drug sample closets clean and organized.
  • Clean exam rooms and common areas as needed.
Requirements
  • Must be BLS Certified.
  • Must have an active Washington MA Certification.
