We are seeking an exceptional interventional cardiologist to join our team at the West Virginia University Health System. As a member of our cardiovascular medicine team, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care, teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows, and participate in clinical research.
Responsibilities- Provide general and interventional cardiology services to patients at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV
- Participate in the teaching of medical students, internal medicine residents, and cardiology fellows
- Contribute to clinical research and quality improvement initiatives
- May be assigned to provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Virginia, with anticipated travel
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
- Eligibility for state medical license
- Completed internal medicine residency program and general cardiology fellowship program
- Board certified/eligible in interventional cardiology
