Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Norton West Louisville Hospital. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality respiratory care to patients, following hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Assess, develop, and evaluate care plans for patients, ensuring the most effective use of respiratory modalities.
  • Participate in monitoring quality of care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Organize workflow to maintain smooth transitions between shifts, ensuring seamless patient care.
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the respiratory care services, including documentation, supply management, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
  • CRT or RRT certification, with RRT obtained within 12 months of hire.
  • One year of experience in respiratory care, preferably in a critical care setting.
