Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Silgan Dispensing. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on injection molding machinery and secondary processing equipment, including electrical and hydraulic motors, pneumatic systems, conveyor systems, and material handling systems.
  • Collaborate with production staff and maintenance technicians to troubleshoot issues and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, electrical panels, and control systems, including high voltage/low voltage systems.
  • Provide support for both production and facilities equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal productivity.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to ensure equipment availability and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Work safely and effectively, adhering to company safety protocols and good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial environment.
  • Strong practical experience in electrical, mechanical, control systems, and hydraulics.
  • Ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics.
  • Demonstrated strong troubleshooting skills – both Mechanical and Electrical.
  • Experience with machine repair, CNC machining equipment ideal.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently required to lift and or move weights up to 35 lbs.
  • Use of Personal protective equipment on the production floor (PPE).
  • Physical requirements include but not limited to sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, stooping, crouching, color determination, and grasping.

$30/hour
