As a member of this health care model, you will:
  • Develop personalized health plans for Veterans, considering their unique needs.
  • Conduct thorough medical and psycho-social assessments, including patient history and physical examinations.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies.
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians and other health professionals to create effective health management strategies.
  • Prescribe medications in accordance with established guidelines.

Work Schedule
This position typically operates Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with potential for intermittent coverage.

Additional Information
This role may require occasional travel to provide coverage at various locations. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, including U.S. Citizens and non-citizens under specific conditions.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following basic requirements:
  • Master's degree in any discipline or a bachelor's degree with one year of experience as a Physician Assistant.
  • Successful completion of the PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE).
  • Possession of a full and unrestricted license to practice in a relevant jurisdiction.

Preferred Experience
Experience in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Women's Health is highly desirable.

Physical Requirements
This role may involve walking, bending, and lifting in direct patient care settings, as well as extended periods of sitting.

Participation in vaccination programs for seasonal influenza and COVID-19 is mandatory for all health care personnel. This position is part of the Excepted Service and does not confer competitive status.
