Job Description:
As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the assessment and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Implementing therapy plans and activities as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records.
- Preparing materials and equipment for therapy sessions.
- Collaborating with clients, families, and other professionals to support client goals.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of individualized treatment plans.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field.
- State licensure or certification as an SLPA.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Prior experience in a clinical or educational setting is a plus.
