Job Description:

As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the assessment and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
  • Implementing therapy plans and activities as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records.
  • Preparing materials and equipment for therapy sessions.
  • Collaborating with clients, families, and other professionals to support client goals.
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field.
  • State licensure or certification as an SLPA.
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Prior experience in a clinical or educational setting is a plus.
