Salary: The hourly wage range for this position is estimated at $18.00 to $25.00 per hour, with additional compensation in the form of premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

Job Description: As a Cake Decorator at Sam's Club, you will be responsible for driving member service in your area to deliver what members love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member's expectations.

• Main Responsibilities:
• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service; maintain in-stock levels; and control shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: Plan bakery productions; ensure consistency in quality and accuracy of bakery decorative designs; follow recipe measurement instructions; work with various products to create decorative flowers and lettering on bakery items; ensure adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management.
• Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality with the member in mind.
• Be an Owner: Drive the performance of the bakery area; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; prepare for seasonal events that impact bakery volume; identify member needs; assist members with purchasing decisions; and resolve member issues and concerns.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Be a brand advocate by valuing the member's experience in Bakery and modeling high-quality service and products; interact with associates to understand roadblocks and assist in training; develop, influence, and inspire them for working in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented style.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; and apply these in executing business processes and practices.
• Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress and information; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.
