Job Title: Seasonal Sales Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support our store team on a short-term basis. The ideal candidate will provide best-in-class customer service, assist with sales, store maintenance, and customer service activities. The Seasonal Sales Associate will participate in the day-to-day operations of the store during peak sales days, with a primary focus on sales, store maintenance, and customer service activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly greeting guests, assisting them with their video gaming needs, recommending additional items as appropriate, and expressing gratitude to every guest for choosing AT&T Spring Mobile.
  2. Fully support the overall shopping environment, including visual and operational aspects, and actively contribute to all store sales initiatives throughout the holiday season.
  3. Collaborate with the store team to ensure that all areas of the store, including restrooms, are clean, organized, and merchandised according to company guidelines.
  4. Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise on shelves and fixtures, as well as transferring products from the stock room to the front of the store, ensuring that all products are well-presented, organized, and alphabetized on the selling floor.
  5. Assist the store team in meeting and exceeding sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
  6. Address guest questions and concerns promptly, effectively, and courteously, and escalate customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner to a store keyholder.
  7. Support effective inventory control and loss prevention practices, including awareness of scams and adherence to safety best practices.
Requirements:
  1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
  2. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  3. Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.
Key Skills and Abilities:
  1. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  2. Ability to follow instructions presented in written, oral, and diagram form.
  3. Possess an outgoing and friendly personality with strong guest service skills.
  4. Provide genuine and friendly assistance to every guest during every visit.
  5. Demonstrate clear verbal communication and listening skills using spoken and written English; bilingual English/Spanish speaking and writing skills are preferred.
  6. Achieve objectives in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  7. Work both independently and within a team to perform all tasks as assigned.
  8. Meet associate performance expectations, including attendance, professional dress, and grooming requirements.
