Job Title: Home Care Training

We are looking for a highly skilled Training & Orientation RN to join our dynamic team at The Senior Company.

About the Job:

This is a temporary, part-time position offering immediate availability for a passionate RN who wants to make a difference in training and development.

Estimated Salary: $40 per hour (20-35 hours a week schedule)

Main Responsibilities:
  • To support the hiring process, verify document compliance, and conduct New Hire Skills Tests and Hands-On Assessments.
  • To lead New Hire Orientation and equip employees with essential knowledge and skills.
  • To travel within the field, conduct supervisions, retrain, and orient field staff while receiving gas and mileage reimbursement.
  • To assist in developing and administering training and orientation policies and procedures.
  • To coordinate in-service training and maintain documentation for CAHC compliance.
  • To perform Nursing Supervisor duties as needed, provide leadership, and guidance to staff.
  • To apply universal precautions, aseptic techniques, and infection control guidelines consistently.
  • To manage stressful situations effectively, maintain professionalism, and communicate clearly at all times.
  • To uphold confidentiality for employee and client records.
  • To maintain productivity while managing time effectively and using resources efficiently.
  • To demonstrate professionalism in appearance, communication, and work performance consistently.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Active RN license in good standing in the state of New Jersey.
  • In lieu of a BS degree, 3 years of professional RN experience in community health and/or home health, with progressive responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with staff and clients.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage stress effectively.
  • Professionalism in all aspects of the role.
