Physician (OB-GYN) - Women's Health Specialist

As a Physician (OB-GYN) at St. Tammany Health System, you will provide comprehensive and high-quality healthcare to women, including routine obstetric and gynecological procedures, pelvic exams, pap smears, breast exams, and monitoring patients throughout their pregnancy. You will also provide medical consultation, patient counsel, and support.
The scope of services will include diagnosing, managing, and treating diseases and issues related to women's health in both ambulatory and inpatient settings.
Responsibilities:
Provide routine obstetric and gynecological procedures
Conduct pelvic exams, pap smears, and breast exams
Monitor patients throughout their pregnancy
Provide medical consultation, patient counsel, and support
Diagnose, manage, and treat diseases and issues related to women's health
Requirements:
Must be licensed by the Louisiana State board of Medical Examiners to practice medicine
Medical Degree from an ACGME accredited school
Current BLS and ALS certifications through ILCOR courses
Board Certification or Eligible for Board Certification
Epic experience a plus
Working Conditions:
Must possess good physical health
Some requirements include standing, sitting, or walking for long periods of time, lifting at least 20 pounds, and working with a moderate level of noise
