Responsabilidad General

Realizar radiografías para pacientes. Asistir en la evaluación y tratamiento de pacientes bajo la dirección del médico, llevando a cabo las siguientes funciones.

Tareas y Responsabilidades Esenciales incluyen, pero no se limitan a:
  • Realizar exámenes radiológicos
  • Archivar y mantener los filmes radiográficos
  • Imprimir informes y montar filmes para los médicos
  • Solicitar, dispensar y mantener el inventario de medicamentos relevantes para la oficina
  • Ordenar y mantener el inventario de suministros médicos generales
  • Aplicar y retirar yesos según sea necesario
  • Capacidad para realizar funciones de asistente médico cuando no esté ocupado en radiografías o en el yeso (si corresponde)
  • Guardar imágenes e informes en CDs para pacientes cuando se solicite
  • Recibir a los pacientes en las salas de examen, recoger signos vitales e ingresar en el expediente del paciente
  • Retirar suturas y grapas, proporcionar cuidado de heridas general y primeros auxilios
  • Documentación de la dispensación de yesos/equipos médicos duraderos
  • Extracción de sangre para PRP bajo supervisión médica
  • Ingresar laboratorios/imágenes diagnósticas/CPQ's
  • Preparación de inyecciones
  • Dar seguimiento a las solicitudes de autorización de compensación laboral
  • Programar pruebas diagnósticas y citas posteriores a las pruebas
  • Contactar a compañías de seguros para la pre-certificación
  • Proporcionar a los pacientes los suministros ordenados por el médico
  • Limpieza y abastecimiento de las salas de examen con suministros
  • Solicitar renovaciones de recetas/dispensar medicamentos a pacientes industriales
  • Contactar a pacientes postoperatorios al día siguiente de la cirugía para hacer seguimiento, ingresar notas en el expediente del paciente
  • Llamar y confirmar citas para pruebas posteriores, laboratorios e inyecciones epidurales
  • Revisar el correo de voz, encuentros telefónicos y devolver llamadas de manera oportuna
  • Recoger filmes para casos quirúrgicos y guardarlos en el expediente del paciente
  • Limpieza de instrumentos/autoclave/contenedores de objetos punzantes, etc.
  • Unir notas diarias de expedientes, hojas de burbujas y escanear para los médicos
  • Cubrir a otros miembros del equipo si están enfermos o de vacaciones
  • Actuar como asistente médico flotante cuando su médico específico esté de vacaciones o cuando haya terminado con sus deberes y responsabilidades
  • Pueden ser necesarios viajes a otras oficinas cuando haya una necesidad de cobertura
  • Cuando esté disponible y sea posible, traducir para pacientes y personal de la oficina
  • Atender el buzón de fax
