Bodega Cashier

The Cashier is a key member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless payment experience for our guests. As a Cashier, you will be the face of our brand, interacting with customers, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

• Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
• Stay up-to-date with menu items, promotions, and other relevant information to provide accurate information to customers.
• Operate a point of sale system, processing transactions, and managing cash and credit card transactions.
• Prepare cashier reports, reconciling cash and credit card transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the point of sale system, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple transactions simultaneously.
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
