Job Summary:
The Automotive Porter is a key member of our team at Tuttle-Click Automotive Group, responsible for ensuring our vehicles are presented in the best possible condition for our customers. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Preparation: Washes, cleans, and dries vehicles (inside and out) on a daily basis, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Vehicle Display: Starts each displayed vehicle every morning, advising the General Manager if a vehicle will not start, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Inventory Management: Rearranges vehicle display positions as directed by manager, maintaining an attractive and well-organized inventory.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintains all lights, pennants, and sales equipment ready for use, ensuring our dealership's visual appeal is always at its best.
- Logistics: Delivers and picks up vehicles from the preparation and/or reconditioning area, efficiently managing our inventory and workflow.
- Navigation: Reads basic maps, follows written directions to off-site locations, demonstrating strong navigation skills and attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Task Completion: Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Teamwork: Self-starter with ability to work well as part of a team or independently, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attitude: Positive attitude and can-do mentality, essential for providing excellent customer service and supporting our team's goals.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record, required for safe and efficient vehicle transportation.
- Vehicle Operation: Ability to drive automatic and manual vehicles, demonstrating strong driving skills and adaptability.
