Primary Responsibilities:

  • Install and activate Honeywell fire alarm systems in accordance with technical specifications and industry regulations.
  • Perform routine maintenance on fire alarm systems to guarantee peak performance and adherence to safety standards.
  • Identify and rectify malfunctions in fire alarm systems, including troubleshooting electronic components and replacing defective parts.
  • Conduct regular testing and inspections of fire alarm systems to ensure their proper operation and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Offer technical assistance to clients by addressing questions, resolving problems, and providing guidance on system operation.
  • Keep precise records of all installations, maintenance tasks, and repairs. Complete service documentation promptly.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow technicians, engineers, and customer support teams to provide comprehensive solutions and assistance to clients.
  • Obtain necessary security clearances as mandated by clients.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a commercial construction or field service setting.
  • NICET I Certification is required (NICET II preferred but not mandatory).
  • Proficiency in programming fire alarm panels, troubleshooting, performing repairs, and working independently.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated work area.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NICET II or higher certifications.
  • Experience in the fire and security sector.
  • Commitment to delivering customer satisfaction.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of EBI systems.

Compensation:

The annual salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $80,000. Compensation may vary based on various factors, including skills, experience, and education.
