We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at The Inn at Old Saybrook, a 75-bed assisted living and memory care facility located in Columbiana, Ohio. As an LPN with Briarfield Health Care Centers, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality nursing services to our residents while promoting their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:- Provide nursing services to residents, promoting their highest level of well-being as directed by management.
- Direct the day-to-day functions of Resident Assistants (RAs) in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
- Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
- Maintain confidentiality of residents' and prospective residents' information.
- Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
- Demonstrate excellent literacy and writing, documentation, communications, and interpersonal abilities.
- Makes prompt and accurate judgments with regard to elder care and emergencies.
- Works and communicates effectively with minimum supervision in a team environment.
- Nursing degree from an accredited program or college/university.
- Current, unencumbered, active Ohio LPN license.
- Current CPR certification.
- At least one year of experience in elderly care preferred.
