Job Summary

At Interstate Waste Services, Inc., we are seeking a qualified Class A CDL Tractor Trailer Driver to join our team. As a vital member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of goods while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  1. Operate a Tractor Trailer in compliance with Interstate Waste Services, Inc.'s safety standards and regulations.
  2. Ensure Secure Loading and transportation of intermodal containers and their contents.
  3. Perform Pre- and Post-Route Inspections of the assigned truck, documenting any safety issues.
  4. Monitor Safety and Service-Related Issues and report to the Route Supervisor or Dispatch.
  5. Communicate Effectively with customers and Dispatchers, responding to complaints in a courteous and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL with air brake endorsement.
  • 1 Year of Experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL-A within the last 7 years.
  • Clean Driving Record and ability to meet physical and safety requirements of the position.
  • Excellent Communication Skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
