Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Management:
    • Formulate, execute, and uphold quality management protocols tailored to gear production.
    • Perform thorough inspections and evaluations on gears to verify compliance with quality benchmarks and specifications.
    • Investigate and rectify gear-related quality challenges encountered during production and in the field.
  • Process Enhancement:
    • Work alongside engineering and production teams to pinpoint opportunities for enhancement in gear manufacturing workflows.
    • Propose and implement enhancements to boost product quality and operational efficiency.
    • Utilize statistical analysis and process control methodologies to oversee and refine manufacturing operations.
  • Documentation & Regulatory Compliance:
    • Compile and sustain comprehensive reports, documentation, and records of quality assessments and testing outcomes.
    • Guarantee adherence to industry regulations, standards, and certifications pertinent to gear manufacturing.
    • Create and maintain quality assurance documentation, including protocols, operational instructions, and quality control strategies.
  • Root Cause Investigation:
    • Conduct root cause investigations on quality discrepancies and enact corrective and preventive measures.
    • Carry out failure assessments on defective gears and collaborate with design and production teams to resolve issues.
  • Training & Knowledge Development:
    • Educate production personnel on quality benchmarks, inspection methodologies, and the application of quality control tools.
    • Remain informed about advancements in gear technology and quality management practices, sharing insights with the team.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience:
    • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a quality assurance role within the gear manufacturing sector.
    • Expertise in gear technology, including familiarity with various gear types, design principles, and manufacturing processes.
    • Experience in developing, implementing, and managing ISO9001 and AS9100 compliant quality control systems that foster customer satisfaction and company growth.
