Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Stauffers of Kissel Hill. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and prepare food for the hot foods area and meal center.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and food presentation standards.
  • Assign duties to team members and schedule break periods, work hours, and vacations based on business needs.
  • Communicate regularly with the purchasing department to ensure accurate inventory management and ordering.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement merchandising plans and promotions.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Train and develop team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
Requirements
  • Current and valid ServSafe certification.
  • Previous kitchen management experience.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
