Position Overview

ASM Industries has been a key player in the manufacturing sector for several decades, specializing in the production of thermoplastic components for various industries including automotive, consumer goods, fluid management, and healthcare. We are currently seeking a Logistics Associate who is meticulous and possesses strong communication abilities along with a dependable work ethic. Our operations run continuously throughout the week, with opportunities for additional hours on weekends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management
    • Maintain accurate records of all inventory within trailers and containers.
    • Ensure that trailers and containers are organized, clean, and well-maintained.
    • Handle the movement of stock and packaging materials to and from designated areas.
    • Keep the shipping dock and surrounding areas clear of debris and clutter.
  • Product Handling and Staging
    • Inspect finished product pallets for any signs of damage.
    • Report any issues to the Quality Control team or Supervisor.
    • Gather necessary weights and dimensions for shipping purposes.
    • Prepare and organize shipments for carrier pickup.
  • Delivery Operations
    • Act as a courteous representative of the company during deliveries.
    • Ensure timely delivery of products and return to the facility.
    • Unload and organize items upon return from deliveries.
    • Submit all necessary documentation to the Customer Service department.
  • Warehouse Maintenance
    • Keep warehouse areas and storage racks orderly and free from clutter.
    • Restock packaging materials and supplies as needed.
    • Conduct regular audits of packaging inventory.
  • Equipment Operation
    • Perform daily checks on warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions.
    • Maintain battery levels and ensure equipment is charged.
  • Order Fulfillment
    • Assist in the picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders as required.
    • Notify Customer Service of any discrepancies in orders.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Experience operating box trucks is preferred.
  • Background in warehouse operations or inventory management is advantageous.
  • Availability to work standard hours during the week.
