About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Pipeline Engineering Manager to join our team at Kinder Morgan. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pipeline engineering and a proven track record of managing complex projects.

The role will involve working closely with operations, EHS, project management, business development, and other internal departments to maintain and improve the integrity of our compression infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and direct a team of engineers and technicians. They will also be responsible for specifying natural gas compression equipment based on operating conditions, developing cost estimates, and securing project funding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Specify natural gas compression equipment based on operating conditions
  • Develop project scope documents, schedules, and bid documents
  • Manage projects in terms of economics, environmental regulations, OSHA Safety, and Kinder Morgan Engineering Standards
  • Travel up to 40% of the time to field sites and offices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in pipeline engineering and project management
  • Excellent leadership skills

Estimated Salary: $160,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience.
