**Job Overview**

United Church Homes, Inc. is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall upkeep and maintenance of our properties.

**Responsibilities**

  • Maintain all areas of the property, including common spaces, resident units, and exterior grounds
  • Respond to work orders and complete tasks in a timely and professional manner
  • Troubleshoot and repair appliances, plumbing, and electrical issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as mowing lawns, trimming trees, and clearing snow
  • Inspect and maintain sprinkler systems, HVAC units, and other critical systems

**Requirements**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications preferred
  • At least one year of experience in a related field; may include experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, landscaping, or carpentry
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a variety of vehicles and equipment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and vendors
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
