Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide physical therapy services to patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. In collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, the therapist will assess, evaluate, and develop treatment plans to achieve patient goals.

This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment. The ideal candidate will be highly developed in their communication skills, have experience working with diverse populations, and be able to anticipate challenges and develop strategies to address them.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate physical therapy needs according to organizational and professional guidelines
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient progress and goals
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with facility and practice guidelines
  • Orient, train, and mentor therapy and health care students to achieve stated performance expectations
  • Identify and act upon performance improvement opportunities to implement best practices
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Licensed (and in good standing) as a physical therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • BLS certification required
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Basic skills in math and computer science
  • Appropriate knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques
