Software Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to join our team at The Boeing Company. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing software systems that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software architectures, requirements, and designs
- Develop and maintain code and integrate software components into a fully functional software system
- Develop software verification plans, test procedures, and test environments
- Perform software project management and software supplier management functions
- Develop and deploy software processes, tools, and metrics
- Execute and document software research and development projects
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes, and regulations
- Track and evaluate software team and supplier performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience
- Alternatively, master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience
- 3 years of experience in software specification format requirements, guidelines, and change control processes
- 3 years of experience in software programming languages and databases
- 2 years of experience in working with various engineering departments and disciplines
Travel Requirements:
International travel required up to 10%, domestic travel required up to 10%.
