Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Medical Technologist to join our team at Ascension Alexian Brothers Medical Center. As a Senior Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of medical procedures and tests, including cardiac catheterization and radiography.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cardiac catheterization procedures, including angioplasty and stenting, under the supervision of a cardiologist.
  • Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory agency standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest medical technologies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist issued by Radiology Tech licensure issued by the Illinois Emergency Mgmt Agency required in combination with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday 10-hr shifts. On Call Required but No Weekends and No holidays. The shifts are 7:00am - 5:30pm; and 8:30am - 7:00pm(on call shift). Call is fluid about 1-2 nights during the week and about every 4th weekend.
