Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Sutter Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized computerized tomography procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Competently perform CT examinations, including routine and specialized procedures, to produce accurate and high-quality images.
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures.
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety.
  • May be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or helping to orient other staff to the department.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • CRT certification as a Certified Radiologic Technologist.
  • BLS certification as a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
  • RHF certification as a Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 days of hire if required at the affiliate.
  • 5 years of recent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • General knowledge of diagnostic computerized tomography principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
  • Ability to perform routine CT examinations and basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods.
