Job Title: Press Assistant - 3rd Shift
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Press Assistant to support our fast-paced production team. The successful candidate will assist the Pressman in the daily operation of the flexographic printing press, maintain supplies, and perform various duties to ensure overall quality, productivity, and waste reduction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Pressman in daily press operation
- Maintain supplies at machine
- Perform duties including turbo wash, change sleeves, load raw material onto the press unwind
- Contribute to quality, productivity, and waste reduction
- Maintain press and press area cleanliness
- Comply with company policies, regulations, and procedures
- Perform other duties as directed
- Ensure AIB housekeeping and cleanliness standards are maintained
- Handle hazardous waste items as required
Requirements:
- High School graduate
- Good mechanical ability
- Good communication skills
- Basic Math skills
- Team Player
- Overtime
- Physically demanding position: long periods standing, bending, squatting, reaching, and pulling
