Position SummaryThis role is an on-site position requiring the employee to execute daily intricate assembly, maintenance, repair, and operational tasks related to wind turbine generators and associated equipment with minimal oversight. The employee must be prepared to ascend to heights of up to 300 feet to perform necessary duties.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out daily tasks as instructed by the supervisor while maintaining a high level of independence.
- Diagnose, repair, and/or modify complex electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic systems.
- Adhere to detailed verbal and written instructions for the assembly, repair, and upkeep of wind turbine generators and related equipment.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation and records as required by the company.
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace, including the proper handling of tools and equipment.
- Travel to various job sites as needed for extended durations.
- Meet all customer and company standards for quality and performance.
- Comply with all corporate, OSHA, and GEM policies and procedures consistently.
- Exhibit professionalism and a positive image of the company.
- Foster a respectful and collaborative work environment.
- Complete service reports and work orders with clarity and accuracy.
- Maintain necessary training certifications relevant to the position.
- Work effectively within project timelines.
- Manage tasks in a high-volume, multi-priority setting.
- Follow both written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Possess knowledge of various hand and power tools.
- Work collaboratively with team members and communicate positively.
- Adapt to indoor and outdoor work conditions, including adverse weather.
