Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive security measures to safeguard IT systems, networks, and sensitive data.
  • Perform thorough security evaluations and audits to detect vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate remediation strategies.
  • Create and uphold security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with industry best practices.
  • Continuously monitor network activity for unusual patterns and respond promptly to security incidents.
  • Establish and maintain security solutions, including intrusion detection systems and antivirus applications.
  • Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure team to incorporate security considerations into IT initiatives.
  • Remain informed about emerging security threats and technologies to proactively address potential risks.
  • Participate in incident response efforts, including forensic investigations and corrective actions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on designing and executing security solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and software applications.
  • Preferred advanced certifications such as CISSP or CISM.
  • Hands-on experience with security technologies and tools, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, VPN, and endpoint protection.
  • Familiarity with established security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS.
