Job Title: Baker

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Nothing Bundt Cakes. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality cakes that meet our strict standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow proprietary recipes and production methods to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Operate commercial-grade ovens and equipment to bake cakes.
  • Prepare raw ingredients and equipment for baking, and monitor the baking process.
  • Package, label, and store baked cakes, and maintain baking and refrigeration logs.
  • Assist the Bakery Manager in developing cake production plans and monitoring inventory.
  • Evaluate raw ingredients and baked cakes to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Clean, sanitize, and restock the workstation, and prepare baking supplies for the next shift.
Requirements:
  • Ability to understand written and oral directions, and apply knowledge to perform job responsibilities.
  • Basic understanding of units of measurement used in the U.S.
  • Ability to perform repetitious physical tasks, lift moderate to heavy weights, and stand for extended periods.
  • Discipline and attention to detail to adhere to health and safety practices and work environment standards.
