Westhab Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Social Work Specialist - Community Outreach to join our team in Manhattan, NY.

Job Overview:

This role involves working with homeless families with children to provide mental health and substance abuse services. The successful candidate will have excellent assessment and treatment planning skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement community outreach programs to engage clients in services.
  • Conduct home visits and provide in-home counseling as needed.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress.
Requirements:
  • LCSW licensure required.
  • Master's degree in social work from CSWE-accredited program.
  • At least two years' experience in social work practice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary Range:

$78,000 - $100,000 per year, based on experience.
