Job Responsibilities
  • Providing compassionate nursing care to residents in post-acute facilities
  • Monitoring residents' physical and mental conditions and tracking vital signs
  • Performing resident intakes, documenting medical histories, and tracking health concerns
  • Helping with medication administration and verification
  • Cultivating a comfortable and safe facility for residents
  • Tracking medical records and charts
  • Assisting with IV setup, immunizations, and phlebotomy procedures
  • Maintaining medical supplies and inventory
  • Following and adhering to resident care plans
  • Working with staff to orient and train new colleagues
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current Pennsylvania state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Completion of approved LPN educational program
  • High school graduation, GED, or equivalent
  • At least 6 months of experience (LPN or similar role)
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
