We are currently in search of a seasoned Finance Operations Manager who will primarily support our operations.
The Finance Operations team is tasked with the critical mission of developing, acquiring, testing, and sustaining advanced propulsion systems throughout their lifecycle.
To effectively meet current and anticipated workload demands, we are augmenting our internal capabilities with Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) support.
Key Responsibilities:
Access and manage financial and proprietary information, ensuring compliance with relevant privacy regulations and competitive solicitation requirements.
Provide meeting support by independently creating presentation materials, charts, and other documentation using MS Office tools, while collaborating with stakeholders.
Advise on proposal preparation, evaluation, and discussion activities in a supportive advisory capacity.
Provide insights and historical data related to the financial aspects of proposals.
Oversee all activities related to funding receipt and the establishment, execution, tracking, and reporting of budget authority.
Assist project managers in monitoring financial execution to align with deliverable timelines.
Perform routine administrative tasks such as filing, research, coordination, attending internal meetings, and providing financial management support.
Support budget execution, tracking, reporting, and necessary adjustments within the accounting system.
Qualifications:
Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
MA/MS with ten (10) years of relevant experience or,
BA/BS degree with twelve (12) years of relevant experience or,
Fifteen (15) years of directly related experience.
Proven knowledge and experience in financial management to assist in compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
Familiarity with policy and guidance development, contract implementation, and financial documentation preparation is required.
Working Conditions:
May require lifting up to 15 lbs.
May involve standing and walking for up to two (2) hours daily.
Some travel may be necessary.
