Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced LPN Clinical Supervisor to join our team at UMass Memorial Health Care. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for directing and supervising assigned personnel, including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training. You will also be responsible for monitoring workflow and productivity, taking corrective action to ensure efficient and effective workflow, and working closely with Manager Ambulatory Operations regarding the training and development of clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise assigned personnel, including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training.
  • Monitor workflow and productivity, taking corrective action to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
  • Work closely with Manager Ambulatory Operations regarding the training and development of clinical staff.
  • Develop and implement educational plans for patients/families.
  • Address phone encounters and execute appropriate follow through.
Requirements
  • Current State of Massachusetts LPN license.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of medical office LPN experience.
  • Demonstrated Leadership experience.
  • Ability to coordinate and organize multiple functions and activities in an ambulatory setting.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels of management, patients, and staff.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Must be proficient in relevant computer software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior supervisory or managerial experience including budgetary planning.
