We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Ascension Providence Southfield. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, including assessing and coordinating patient discharge planning needs.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate, and note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required, American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
