Job Title: Certified Medication Technician

Terraces of Phoenix, a HumanGood community, is seeking a full-time Certified Medication Technician to join our Memory Support team.

About the Role:

Under general supervision, the Certified Medication Technician will provide exemplary care to residents and create a safe environment to provide resident care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to our Philosophy for Person-Directed Care and be able to work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications to residents as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor residents for signs of medication side effects and report any concerns to the Director of Nursing Services
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices in medication administration and resident care
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Successful completion of the Certified Caregiver Program
  • Certification as a Medication Technician required
  • Minimum of one year experience in a healthcare setting preferred
