About the Role:Under general supervision, the Certified Medication Technician will provide exemplary care to residents and create a safe environment to provide resident care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to our Philosophy for Person-Directed Care and be able to work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality care.
Responsibilities:- Administer medications to residents as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor residents for signs of medication side effects and report any concerns to the Director of Nursing Services
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices in medication administration and resident care
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Successful completion of the Certified Caregiver Program
- Certification as a Medication Technician required
- Minimum of one year experience in a healthcare setting preferred
