Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-performance, scalable distributed systems
  • Analyze problem requirements and existing solutions to make informed architectural decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and drive operational standards
  • Engage with other teams to identify issues and establish long-term relationships
  • Drive areas of service scalability by collaborating in planning meetings

Requirements:

  • Experience with building and operating distributed storage and/or compute systems
  • Understanding of distributed systems' space concerns and algorithms
  • Familiarity with large infrastructure systems like Kubernetes
  • Experience with high-performance languages such as Swift, Rust, C++, or Scala
  • Strong interest in distributed systems, reliability, and cloud services
